Lorenzo’s de Mesilla first opened it’s doors in November of 1995. Since that time, Lorenzo’s has earned a reputation of being one of the finest restaurants in the southwest. Many travelers make it a point to revisit Lorenzo’s time and again when passing through the area.

Well, it all begins with the food. Lorenzo is a hands-on owner who prides himself in the quality of his authentic Sicilian-style food. The food speaks for itself and everyone is fanatical about the hot fresh baked bread!
Lorenzo truly enjoys creating new and unique dishes, like the Meat and Green Chile Lasagna or the Fettuccini Alfonso with homemade Italian sausage and green chile. A new local favorite is the Spinach and Artichoke Ravioli in the Red Chile Alfredo Sauce, yum! The seafood dishes are amazing! The fresh sea scallops sautéed in a sherry sauce with shallots, the calamari in a red wine sauce, the “one of a kind” shrimp scampi and the linguini with clams just to name a few.
Lorenzo’s also has a very nice wine selection to compliment any entrée on the menu. But besides, great food and exceptional customer service, there is a life, an energy, a warmth that permeates the air of Lorenzo’s. That’s what brings people back! Its’ a special feeling of good times, great conversation and laughter. I believe people really feel at home when dining at Lorenzo’s.
